About the Work
My creative writing explores desire, money, power, ambition, and the stories people construct around the lives they want.
I’m interested in what happens when love collides with work, when intimacy acquires an audience, when taste becomes commerce, when care becomes control, and when money changes the meaning of a choice without announcing that it has.
At the centre of my fiction are characters who are intelligent enough to explain themselves beautifully and complicated enough to still be wrong. I’m drawn to the gap between how people understand their own behaviour and what their choices reveal to everyone else.
My first novel, Paid Partnership, sits inside these tensions — exploring intimacy and authorship, sex and economics, class and creative ambition, labour and image-making, and the distance between a life as it is lived and the version of that life that becomes visible to others.
My wider practice across film, music, performance, and immersive media also shapes the way I write. I think cinematically about character, atmosphere, rhythm, perspective, and the worlds that form around people and their desires.
Wattpad is where I’m currently publishing fiction in progress, inviting readers into those worlds as they develop.
