Photography

T. Stephen and I spent the day moving between two of London’s most distinct backdrops—Barbican and Hackney Wick. The Barbican gave us that brutalist canvas, all sharp lines and concrete monoliths towering overhead. There’s a quietness there, a stillness between the heavy structures that made every frame feel deliberate and architectural. I remember standing beneath those shadowy walkways, letting the weight of the space influence how I moved, how I carried myself. Then we shifted east to Hackney Wick, and everything changed. The energy there is raw and loud—graffiti-covered warehouses, canals reflecting bursts of color, and a sense that the creative pulse of the city lives on every corner. T. Stephen caught me blending into the grit, leaning into the textures, reacting to the layered chaos of the Wick.

"T. Stephen is best known as a model, but she also has a sharp eye behind the lens. As someone who understands both sides of the camera, she brings a unique perspective to her photography—knowing how to capture mood, posture, and presence in a way that feels instinctive and real. With years of experience working in front of the camera on high-profile fashion and editorial campaigns, T. Stephen has developed a deep understanding of visual storytelling. Working with her was fluid and collaborative. Because she knows what it feels like to be the subject, she has this natural ability to put you at ease, to give just enough direction while allowing space for spontaneity. During our shoot across Barbican and Hackney Wick, she framed me with an insider’s understanding of how a model moves within urban environments. The result? Shots that feel unforced and full of narrative—images that carry both her model’s instinct and her photographer’s eye."
