Paradise

I invited audiences to embark on a transcendent musical journey with me as I presented my latest work, Paradise, in concert. Inspired by the rich tapestry of my life experiences, I set out to captivate them with the soul of R&B, the groove of funk, the pulse of afrobeat, and the spirit of gospel. Driven by a rich, percussive vocabulary, the rhythms of Paradise were crafted to make their bodies move.

Work

With Paradise, I created music at the intersection of electronic production and live instrumentation, blending my vocal performances with elements of spoken word and poetry. My work explored cinematic elements and experimental composition, with a particular focus on textural sound design. My approach moved fluidly between structured arrangements and improvisational forms, while my lyrics drew heavily from personal experience and cultural narratives. This body of work reflected my distinctive approach to contemporary music production.
