Media and Press Coverage
Bek Wa Goro was featured in British Vogue wearing designs by Boyedoe, as part of the 2024 Notting Hill Carnival coverage. Europe’s largest street festival brought a wave of color and culture to west London, beginning with Saturday’s Panorama steel pan competition at Emslie Horniman’s Pleasance Park. Sunday celebrated families and elders with a traditional procession, while Monday unleashed a kaleidoscope of masqueraders in elaborate feathered costumes dancing through Ladbroke Grove and Westbourne Park. Photographer Ejatu Shaw documented the vibrant energy and spirit of Carnival for Vogue’s feature.
